POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position is designed for a creative, strategic, and goal oriented individual who knows how to execute. Ideal candidates are recent college graduates or individuals looking for a part time opportunity.

Applicants should have a strong desire to be involved with a true start up company and have aspirations for wanting to help the company’s growth process with an expanded role in the future. The role will involve equal parts sales and marketing, so as to give the applicant exposure to two very critical aspects of the business cycle. This is also a terrific position for those looking to get a taste of start-up life, self-employment and entrepreneurship. While this position is offered pay, MetroButler is willing to offer college credit where applicable as well. MetroButler will work with the applicant to build a flexible schedule regarding hours, weekly assignments and preferred location of work.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain an organized and updated list of new client prospects and leads
- Cold outreach for client prospecting through email, social media, and online forums
- Updating social media editorial calendars and attracting new followers
- Copy writing and posting content in accordance with editorial calendar on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, and other applicable channels
- Reporting to the CEO on efficacy of social media posts and cold outreach for sales

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU TO HAVE

- Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills
- Bach. degree ideally towards marketing, communications, or business
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and how they operate
- Ability to work independently as well as on a small team
- Sincere desire to be part of a start-up atmosphere
- Flexibility with on-the-fly changes and adjustments
- Prior experience in marketing, advertising, sales or social media is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- This position is a paid internship with sliding scale based on mix of sales commissions and payment for certain goals reached
- Flexible part time work with ability to work remotely
- College credit offered where applicable
